ACT provides transportation of air freight consignments in two formats
1. Aircraft Containers and pallets – ULDs
The roller bed vehicle/trailer configurations we use are of two types;
- Rigid vehicle designed to carry 2 ULDs
- Box trailer designed to carry 4 ULDs
2. Palletised (Euro or US) – crated or wrapped
These consignments are moved using the most efficient vehicle type for the specific job to ensure ease of transport in the most secure environment. The vehicle types that are used for this type of cargo include 7.5 t curtain side up to artic/trailer combination.
All freight carried by us is secured within the vehicle in order to avoid any movement of the assignment whilst the vehicle is in motion.
Irrespective of the type of freight, we offer a 24 hour transport service for consignments into and out of East Midlands Airport (EMA). This service is available to our clients to enable their consignment to be moved at a time to suit their schedules and that of their customers.
